Betby， a sportsbook supplier， held a charity auction as part of its fifth anniversary celebrations， with the proceeds going towards Common Ground – a community centre.
Based in Riga， one of the office locations of Betby， Common Ground will use the funds to host a Christmas celebration for children affected by the war in Ukraine.
As part of the fundraising drive， Betby doubled the money raised by the campaign before donating to the community centre.
Leonid Pertsovskiy， Betby CEO，Online Casino Games said: “Celebrating our five-year anniversary by giving back to our staff along with people in the wider community in Riga is a fitting way to mark this occasion.
“We take great pride in putting people first and without the talented and dedicated staff we have， we would not have seen our business go from strength to strength and be in the wonderful position we are today.
“I am very thankful to everybody who has joined us on our amazing adventure.”
The auction offered 12 different items， each of them supplied by one of the executives or leaders of the company.
These included a golf session with CEO Leonid Pertsovskiy， dinner and wine tasting with COO Eva Berkova， a marine boat trip with CCO Chris Nikolopoulos， a t-shirt from Head of Design Sergey Grabinkyi and a karaoke night with Senior PO Aglaja Geta.
Betby has been involved with the Common Ground community centre since the start of the year， assisting the organisation with integration efforts for people who have been displaced by the war in Ukraine.
